For purchases made using Dogecoin, customers should look for the Dogecoin symbol on the checkout page. Tesla only accepts payments made through Dogecoin wallets, and products purchased with these payments cannot be paid from multiple wallets, cancelled or returned.
According to Tesla, the prices of eligible products will be clearly denominated in Dogecoin and will include all applicable taxes.
Elon Musk introduced Dogecoin at an event near Berlin, Germany, in March, suggesting that Tesla might start accepting the cryptocurrency as a payment method for vehicle sales in the future. Musk stated that Tesla "should enable it at some point".
