The nominees for next year's 67th Grammy Awards were announced last night. SZA, with 9 nominations, came closest to collecting the most awards, while Taylor Swift, Olivia Rodrigo, Boygenius, Miley Cyrus, Jon Batiste, Victoria Monét and Billie Eilish were the other prominent nominees.

Among the Grammy nominees, there is one name that stands out the most. Oscar-winning actress Meryl Streep was nominated for a Grammy for "Best Audiobook, Narration and Storytelling". The 74-year-old American actress received this nomination for her voice work in the children's classic "Charlotte's Web".

Streep, who has won three Oscars and three Emmys, has never won a Grammy or a Tony award for the best in theater. If the famous actress wins the Grammy, she will be one step closer to receiving the EGOT title.

WHAT IS EGOT?

EGOT stands for Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards and is a title given to people who have won all four of the most prestigious awards in television, music, film and theater. In the art world, winning an EGOT is considered to make a difference in show business. To date, names such as Audrey Hepburn, Mel Brooks, John Legend and Whoopi Goldberg have received the EGOT title.
