Park rangers responded to a report of a man harassing a herd of bison and kicking a bison in the leg.
The suspect's vehicle was found near the West Entrance and he was stopped in West Yellowstone, Montana.
The man was found injured and transported to a hospital for treatment, but details on the nature of his injuries have not been released.

The man was taken into custody on charges of "being under the influence of alcohol to the extent of endangering himself, disorderly conduct likely to create or maintain a dangerous condition, approaching wildlife and disturbing wildlife."
